To address this need with the expertise it demands, Chicago-based Spertus Institute launches the Leadership Certificate in Combating Antisemitism with an inaugural cohort of 17 Jewish community executives and senior professionals from across North America.
Combating antisemitism requires understanding our current climate in both an historical and contemporary context, right alongside the development of real-world skills. We must engage constituents, develop networks, and build bridges.

Opinion
Though fringe and vague in many ways, the call to a Day of Hate left us, along with many other Jewish communal professionals and lay leaders, asking questions about this incident and the broader societal context. In some ways, it challenged us to dive into the gray zone of antisemitism.

Critical Conversations is an annual Spertus Institute program that brings together high-profile experts and activists to address the most critical issues of the day. This year’s event will focus on rising antisemitism. You are invited to participate in person or online on February 20.
