Who Knows One?

Who Knows One?

Tuesday, July 20, 2021 - 7:00 pm

WHO KNOWS ONE? is an internet game show about Jewish community and connection,
two values core to us at Spertus.

The game is live, fast-paced, and hilarious—and underlying it all is a spirit of kehilla, community.
In fact, the community (that’s YOU!) can impact the game through donations that
unlock clues and provide lifelines to help your team claim victory!

Think of it as Jewish geography on steroids.

Valerie Chambers

Valerie Chambers is a Spertus MA in Jewish Professional Studies student (Cohort NA1) who recently became the Campus Director of Kennesaw State University Hillel in Georgia. We fully expect her to be a tough competitor, considering her experience as a personal trainer and long-distance runner!

Ian Solow-Niederman is a Spertus MA in Jewish Professional Studies student (Cohort W) who, by the time of this event, will have left Denver (where he worked with Rocky Mountain Region BBYO) to become Assistant Director of Syracuse University Hillel. Showing even further reach, he’s been an American Hebrew Academy Fellow in North Carolina and worked with AEPi in Indiana.

Her reach is likewise cross-country, she has raised funds from donors in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washington state.

Superconnectors!

Kelley CohenKelly Cohen of Atlanta is an alum of the Spertus Institute/Northwestern University Certificate in Jewish Learning for Educators. As North American Director of Education at Diller Teen Fellows, she fosters Jewish education, something she’s done at camps, schools, synagogues, and more, meeting people all along the way.

Ellen Spira Hattenbach, superconnectorEllen Spira Hattenbach is a Spertus alum, mentor, past trustee, and former VP of External Relations. Today she is the Jewish National Fund’s Executive Director of Illinois, raising JNF’s revenues and reputation.
